MSAT Digital Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• As a MSAT Digital Process Engineer, you support the digital transformation of laboratory activities by integrating MSAT lab processes into the iLab software platform. 
• You develop and implement electronic notebook methods to replace traditional paper-based workflows. 
• You connect and configure laboratory equipment to ensure seamless data flow and efficient operations. 
• You collaborate closely with scientific teams to translate laboratory processes into digital formats. 
• You ensure accurate and structured data collection to enable global data analysis. 
• You act as a key contact between laboratory users and digital system developers. 
• You provide training and guidance to laboratory personnel to ensure smooth adoption of new digital tools. 
• You identify opportunities to optimize laboratory workflows through innovative digital solutions. 
• You troubleshoot and resolve issues related to iLab usage and laboratory connectivity. 
• You contribute to building a more efficient, data-driven, and future ready laboratory environment. 

Requirements

• PhD or Master's in Life Sciences with at least 3 years of relevant experience in biotech process or analytical development. 
• Hands-on lab experience, including mammalian cell culture in bioreactors, protein purification and/or analytical assays. 
• Familiar with laboratory informatics, data management systems, and digital lab solutions. 
• Strong affinity for IT and an exploratory mindset. 
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; accurate and detail-oriented. 
• Flexible, eager to learn, and a strong team player. 
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
