Lead Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers
• Develop and implement a departmental structure, roles, and responsibilities to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Own the overall design of the plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide technical leadership in process design, equipment selection, and systems integration, ensuring adherence to best practices in process industry.
• Lead end-to-end project management for major capital projects, from conceptual design through execution and start-up.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects, including technical, safety, and regulatory risks.
• Ensure all projects comply with industry safety standards, environmental regulations, and company-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Bsc or Msc in Chemical Engineering
• 15+ years of working experience in (chemical) production environment, of which the last 5 years in a lead role.
• You are based in Netherlands.
