STAR is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer Marine Piping Systems for a project-based, interim assignment. In this role, you will lead the design, engineering, and integration of complex piping systems for state-of-the-art naval vessels.

    • At least three years experience in piping systems engineering, preferably within naval shipbuilding, offshore, or related.
    • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with hands-on experience modelling complex piping layouts.
    • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and verifying outsourced engineering deliverables.
    • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and classification requirements for marine piping systems.

    • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
    • Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
    • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
