E&I 3D Teamlead

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you take the lead over the entire E&I 3D process.
• You coordinate E3D activities in close collaboration with project managers, lead designers, and other disciplines.
• You prepare resource plans, monitor progress, and actively steer performance based on results and KPIs.
• In addition, you ensure the quality of all deliverables and guarantee that designs meet the required standards and specifications.
• By nature, you play a key role in improving and standardizing 3D workflows.
• You initiate optimizations, promote automation, and ensure consistent working methods, templates, and best practices.
• You also organize model reviews, audits, and quality checks, and actively contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge retention within the discipline.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in E&I 3D design
• At least 3 years of experience in a leading role within E&I design
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects and a strong collaborative mindset across disciplines
• Proven experience in E&I 3D design for offshore platforms and/or electrical HV substations
• Extensive experience with E3D and Navisworks
• Solid knowledge of the E&I design process and the E3D modeling process
• Able to plan realistically and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
• A natural leader: you take responsibility, provide direction, and bring people along
• You communicate clearly and professionally in English
