Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Manage schedules, permits, and design compliance.
• Site Management: Oversee daily operations, contractors, and progress.
• HSE Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and risk management.
• Quality Control: Ensure construction meets standards and specifications.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor expenses, approve invoices, and manage changes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with owners, engineers, and vendors.
• Risk & Problem-Solving: Address site challenges and mitigate delays.

Requirements

• Experienced in construction management on behalf of a client / general contractor
• Experienced in industrial projects
• Experience in Data center projects is preferred
• Experienced in projects with complex organizational structures, i.e. several contractors and equipment suppliers contracted by the client
• Experienced in schedule management and monitoring (including short-term schedules on the basis of the project master schedule)
• Experienced in coordinating several parties
• Experienced in partial / final handover activities, including snagging and de-snagging
• Minimum of 10 years of experience on construction project
• Education: technical (eg engineering, construction etc), preferred - electrical background. Less attractive but still ok - mechanical.
• Software: MS Project/Prima vera, Office, Document management platforms like ACC/Asite/Share point
• nice to have: proven record / recommendations related to complex industrial projects and Data center projects
