  • Monitoring of the construction phase of the project, from the execution studies to the acceptance of the works is your main responsibility as Construction Manager
  • Organisation of the construction site according to the needs of the companies: allocation of work areas, organisation of the living quarters, management of construction waste, electrical distribution, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations through the following actions:
    • frequent HSE inspections,
    • toolbox talks,
    • sanctions,
    • Review of the engineering documents of the civil engineering package for compliance with the contracts and the civil engineering guide plans.
  • Ensuring the proper execution of the works, in accordance with the execution plans.
  • Inspection of equipment and works during the erection phase: progress, SAT, ...
  • Follow-up of the planning and coordination of the companies on site.
  • Technical management of external engineering offices and approved bodies.
  • Drafting of progress reports on site and all monitoring documents requested by the PM or the Steering Committee.
  • Management of periodic (weekly) site meetings and drafting of minutes.
  • Organisation of daily coordination meetings.
  • Participation in the HSE meetings (monthly) organised by the health and safety coordinator.
  • Participating in the periodic (monthly) technical meetings of the different lots.
  • Participating in periodic (monthly) progress meetings of the different lots.
  • Follow-up of the budget.



  • Education
    • Civil or industrial engineer.
    • VCA or equivalent.
  • Expertise
    • Knowledge of the process industry and industrial projects.
    • Expertise in managing large multidisciplinary sites and international teams.
    • Mastery of construction and assembly techniques.
    • In-depth knowledge of regulations.
    • Knowledge of waste and/or biomass thermal treatment technologies (combustion, heat recovery, energy recovery, flue gas treatment, etc.) is a plus.
    • Bilingual French/English
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years experience in multi-disciplinary projects, including at least 5 years as a Construction Manager, preferably in the field of energy production (power plant, waste incineration, biomass, etc.).
  • Personality
    • Rigour and leadership.
    • Good communication skills and ability to communicate and manage relationships at all levels.
    • Good presentation and analytical skills, with the ability to provide solutions to problems.
    • Autonomy/initiative.
    • Planning and organisation.
