Responsibilities

• Study Phase: Manage construction-related works that occur during the study phase, providing early oversight to ensure smooth transitions into active project phases.
• Tie-Ins: Oversee the execution of 40 tie-ins during the planned October 2025 shut down, ensuring that all activities meet safety, quality, and timing standards.
• Post-Shut Down: After the shut down, manage ongoing construction activities related to the project, which includes building a new structure and the installation of 5 heat exchangers and 10 vessels.
• Full-Time Expansion: If the project secures FID, responsibilities will likely grow into a full-time position extending for over a year following the shut down.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, and site personnel, to ensure construction aligns with project goals and timelines.
• Work closely with local site management, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Report regularly on project progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
• Ensure that all safety and quality standards are rigorously applied throughout the project phases.

• 40 Tie-ins during the October 2025 shut down.
• Construction of a new structure, including:
• Installation of 5 heat exchangers
• Installation of 10 vessels

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager in industrial or chemical plant environments, particularly in handling tie-ins during shut down phases.
• Experience with heat exchangers, vessels, and large industrial structures.
• Ability to manage construction work during both study and active project phases.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with local and international teams.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is highly desirable.
