Responsibilities

  • Repairs & maintenance works on existing structures
  • Small & medium-sized civil renovation projects at the industrial site in Hoboken.
  • Independently manage daily repair notifications in SAP.
  • Establish safe and qualitative repair methods in consultation with production services (clients) and (in-house) contractors (executors).
  • Complete follow-up of execution, including quality control & strict compliance with safety regulations (Seveso-site).
  • Full management of administrative aspect: creating orders (Ariba) and work permits (Sharepoint), support during registrations (OnyxOne), control and approval of cost sheets (Excel).
  • Leading meetings with internal clients to follow up on large amounts of small tasks structured and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project manager, project engineer, and designer when setting up the execution file; conducting measurements; initiating price inquiries; analyzing quotes.
  • Set up meetings between stakeholders & report to project manager.
  • Completely independent management of all administrative documentation: quotes, orders, work permits, registrations, progress statements & timesheets.
  • Provide advice on renovation techniques after consulting executors.
  • Example projects:
  • Replacement of asbest-containing roofs & facades of industrial halls.
  • Renewal of intersections and complete roads in concrete and asphalt pavements.
  • Repair and replacement of profiles of various types of pipe-racks.
  • Replacement of concrete retaining walls and floors of storage boxes.

Requirements

  • Min 5yrs Experience in supervising and executing construction works or site activities.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent by experience.
  • Strong focus on safety and familiarity with safety standards in the construction industry and Seveso environments.
  • Strong communication skills, customer- and result-oriented.
  • Experience with site meetings and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, PowerPoint) is a must; knowledge of SAP, Sharepoint, AutoCAD is a plus.
