(Senior) Integration Engineer Interior

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• As the (Senior) Integration Engineer Interior with a specialization in Joinery of Accommodation and Technical Spaces you will be essential in ensuring the successful subcontracting and detailed engineering of joinery/accommodation systems for our naval vessels.
• Your expertise will transform design concepts into precise technical specifications, oversee the engineering process, and maintain compliance with stringent quality standards.
• Develop functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on customer and design requirements.
• Create detailed technical specifications for joinery works, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to select suitable materials and suppliers for accommodation joinery and insulation.
• Support quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to ensure finished joinery meets required standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, resolving any issues that arise during the project.
• Maintain accurate documentation of joinery specifications, changes, and project progress.
• Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of joinery works with other ship systems.
• Stay updated with industry developments and best practices related to joinery works, incorporating them into projects where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Civil Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience as Technical Specification Engineer or similar role, focusing on joinery works in the maritime industry.
• Deep knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal and knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
• Excellent references antecedents as a pre-assignment security screening is part of the recruitment procedure.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
• Maximum compensation for this position: €48,000 - €73,000 gross per year excluding holiday allowance.
