Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads and contractors.
Supports Project Managers and Project Services in negotiating and awarding contracts, pre- and post-FID.
Protects company interests through warranty enforcement, risk mitigation, claims management, and contract oversight.
Contract management - Pre-Award:
Develops contracting strategies and tender plans.
Issues ITTs, organizes pre-bid meetings, and evaluates bids (technical and commercial).
Leads contract drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation.
Ensures compliance with governance, legal, and regulatory standards.
Provides market insights and negotiation guidance.
Contract management - Post-Award:
Manages contract execution and ensures compliance.
Monitors contractor performance, deliverables, and milestones.
Handles variations, change orders, and claims.
Supports dispute resolution and contract close-out.
Coordinates with finance on invoicing, cost control, and reporting.
Promotes contractual awareness within project teams.
Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Requirements
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in either engineering, legal, commerce, business, supply chain management or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts management environment within the construction, engineering, Oil & Gas industry/Energy storage industry. Experience with renewable energy projects is welcome.
Strong planning and organizing skills, able to identify and effectively priorities workload and successfully meet multiple, often competing deadlines pro-active worker with a solutions-oriented approach, demonstrating initiative and ownership of deliverables.
Hands-on practical approach and willingness to support team activities.
