Safety Engineer Area Electrics/Automation

Responsibilities

Are you fascinated by technology and do you understand how to apply standards and guidelines accordingly? Then become part of our team (in the Electrics & Automation - EA OU) in project planning!

• You are the key expert in our department on the subject of safety regulations and standards in plant engineering
• Thanks to your technical understanding, you can design applications in accordance with these standards and implement them in projects
• You will not only work closely with other departments in Linz, but also with our colleagues worldwide
• In discussions with our customers/suppliers, you will always endeavour to find the best solution

Requirements

• Technical university degree or graduate of a technical college or HTL; specialising in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, electronics or computer science
• Professional experience in the project planning of machines or systems
• Knowledge of standards, validations and verifications must be available
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• You enjoy working in a committed team and are happy to use your expertise to develop the best technical solutions for us and our customers.
