QA/QC manager

Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Lead the overall quality strategy for the Project Delivery Team.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to support all project phases.
• Closely monitor the EPCM contractor’s adherence to quality processes and standards.
• Conduct thorough audits to ensure compliance, and manage project documentation across various project stages.
• Actively collaborate with local regulatory authorities to meet all quality and safety requirements.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the Quality Assurance (QA) team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Significant experience in Quality Assurance (QA) management within the construction industry, ideally on large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Belgian construction laws and relevant EU regulations.
• Proven experience in managing EPCM contractors to ensure compliance and project success.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Dutch and/or French will be considered a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external regulatory bodies.
