Responsibilities

  • Maintain the detailed overview of activities within the discipline (in scope and time) and ensure that they are carried out according to the design and agreed procedures/philosophies.
  • Maintain the detailed overview of applicable specifications & regulations for disciplines
  • Coordinate, follow-up and inspect the construction works (prefabrication, assembly, site installation/hook-up works) performed by Sub-Contractor personnel
  • Coordinate and clarify with Borealis counterpart any technical subjects arising during the works
  • Coordinated with Site QA manager; Perform quality surveillance of all construction and test works to ensure work is done according to procedures and specifications., incl. reporting of any non conformances or deviations.
  • Coordinated with MC/Completion Lead; Witness defined inspection point and sign off MC checksheets at work is progressing - Coordinated with Site HSE Manager; Ensuring that all work or executed in a safe manner
  • Participate in daily toolbox meetings at site, participate in daily progress & coordination meetings by Site manager
  • Prepare input to work permit applications - Maintain the detailed overview of planned and actual progress and provide feedback to planner on weekly basis

Requirements

  • Solid background in piping and mechanical construction within EPC/EPCM projects ideally - Local experience is a must
  • Strong knowledge of installation, fabrication, and interface management.

  • Experience in following up contractors on behalf of the client.

  • Familiarity with prefabrication yards and on-site installation environments.

  • Previous experience in the Swedish industrial/petrochemical sector. Especially with the same final client.
