MSAT Scientist Cell & Biochemistry

Responsibilities

• As an MSAT Scientist, you design, develop, improve, and validate analytical methods for existing and new production processes.
• You independently design experiments and develop comprehensive analytical studies.
• You generate high-quality scientific and technical study protocols and reports.
• You maintain and communicate critical documentation and knowledge.
• You perform data trending and monitoring of analytical methods to ensure reliability and effectiveness.
• You conduct root cause investigations for analytical deviations.
• You present results and findings at team meetings.
• You support small-scale testing activities in the laboratory.

Requirements

• PhD in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent through experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ELISA and qPCR methods, particularly for host cell impurity analysis.
• Knowledge of protein characterization techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western/Southern/Northern blots).
• Experience with analytical method development, qualification, and validation.
• Experience in designing and executing DOE experiments for assay validation.
• Experience with statistical analysis and method performance interpretation.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent knowledge of cGMP.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Willing to support both lab work and desk-based work.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
