Lead E&I Engineer

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• As Lead Engineer, you will lead the electrical and instrumentation engineering team in the design and development of electrical systems and instrumentation for the battery component factory.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, process engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement maintenance and reliability programs for electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for electrical engineering projects.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the procurement of electrical equipment and materials. 

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in the automotive or battery manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and various instrumentation devices.
• Experience with sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other instrumentation equipment.
• Proficiency in using design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB) and familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
