(Junior) Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities

• You will be part of an international team that is involved in the design of packaged units, such as metering skids, control and analyzer houses.
• Complete or parts of electrical installations. This includes designing documents like: Designing block diagrams, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and loop diagrams, performing calculations on cables, cabinet heat load, making hook up drawings
• Selecting electrical and instrumentation components according project requirements, budget.
• Instrumentation and field installation, supervising modifications to contrl cabinets and preparing control cabinets for testing.
• Working together with various disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering and Project Engineering, sharing and transferring information to ensure that the technical design is conform the project specifications. 
• Ensuring that your work is absolutely according to the applicable specifications and that the work processes that are in place are being followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or similar;
• EU Citizenship
• 0-5 years of working experience (graduates are welcome)
• Both technical and commercial awareness with a Flexible and Pro-active attitude
• Interest and knowledge about the Oil & Gas industry and particular Custody Transfer Metering and associated supervisory systems
• Strong knowledge and experience with one or more; ATEX guidelines, Ex-classification, NEN / IEC standards and E-Plan
• Naturally, you will be excited to work within the E&I design industry, predominantly within the chemical and oil & gas sector. You get a kick out of working in an international team that technically as well as commercially is driven to find the best design for a given project.
• Although your native tongue is highly valued, for reasons of effectiveness it is expected that you speak, read and write English on a professional proficient level.
