IT Control and Risk Specialist

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• +/- 6 months assignment - IT Audit Project, parttime support is possible.
• The IT Internal Control and Risk Specialist is accountable for assuring IT Internal Controls of the organization's IT operational effectiveness and efficiency and compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
• You are also responsible to access and report the business risk associated with the use, ownership, operation, involvement, influence and adoption of IT within the organization.
• You also be executing the respective plan across the organization in alignment with the Group IT strategic and/or operational priorities.
• You advise within your area of expertise and are expected to remain at the forefront of developments to identify innovative methods to carry out assigned tasks that will increase the overall quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience as IT Control and Risk Specialist 
• Based in Netherlands due to duration of the assignment.
• In order to support, govern and contribute to a fully integrated and aligned IT Strategy across the organization, you have to:
• Liaise, work together with- and advise your colleagues within different RC’s and disciplines;
• Execute the processes and best practices necessary to work according to the direction and strategy of Group IT (and make suggestions for improvement if required);
• Initiate actions, preparing materials/ presentations and suggestions for the Group Department Manager/ Group IT Director to align with the Management Board with regards to specific projects;
• Support the Service Delivery team in solving complex problems.
• Participation in IT Audits and ICSOSIT campaigns.
• Participate in IT Risk and IT Control review meetings.
• Ensure and monitor adherence to agreed ICOSIT KPI’s.
