Supervise and coordinate all instrumentation construction and installation activities on site to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in full compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Oversee subcontractors, foremen, and instrument technicians, ensuring proper installation of field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and related systems.
Review and interpret instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules, and hook-up details to guide installation and testing.
Monitor and verify cabling, terminations, calibration, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
Ensure quality control and compliance with relevant codes (IEC, ISA, ATEX, etc.) and EPC/client specifications.
Conduct daily toolbox talks and HSE briefings to maintain a strong safety culture.
Prepare and maintain progress reports, inspection records, and punch lists, and promptly escalate any delays or technical issues to the Construction/Project Manager.
Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical, automation) to resolve interface issues and maintain overall project schedule.
Technical degree or equivalent professional qualification in Instrumentation / Electrical / Industrial Automation.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as an Instrument Supervisor on large EPC or industrial projects (oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy).
Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning procedures.
Familiarity with international standards (IEC, ISA, ATEX, SIL) and control systems (DCS/PLC).
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage multicultural teams.
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
