Instrumentation designer Plant 3D

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Instrumentation Designer you are responsible for the design for the instrumentation part of a job within time, budget and of a high quality.
• The design activities you perform are subject to the project requirements.
• You report to the Lead (Project) Engineer on progress, setbacks and concerns and signal technical risks and anomalies in projects to your Section Head.
• You reply to queries from site, Client, Certifying Authority and Vendor on time. If necessary, you perform activities abroad, on site or with a client.

• Modelling of Tubing and cable tray in Plant 3D with 2D drawings as result
• Installation typicals for project with MTO and/or cable list work in excel.

Requirements

• We are looking for a creative and analytically strong Designer with good communication, organization and planning skills. Furthermore:
• You have a BSc or Technical College in Electrical Design.
• Over 8 years of relevant experince in electrical design.
• You are computer literate in document processing and spreadsheets, for 2D and 3D CAD.
• Autocad Plant 3D is a must
• preferable a EU citizen, because of the required starting date and requested project duration.
