Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of high-tech laboratory equipment. 
• You ensure and maximize customer satisfaction for the entire range of analysers and systems. 
• You ensure that the diagnostic systems, analysers and component products meet the manufacturer's specifications. 
• You ensure the optimal operation of the assigned systems and analysers, within one or more product lines. 
• At 1-3 months you carry out day-to-day routine maintenance instrument work and gain hands-on experience by going to customers. 
• At 3-6 months you update maintenance data timely and accurately according to the requirements of the service SOP. 
• You also support the Central Planning department by managing the spare parts stock accurately and in a timely manner. 
• At 6-24 months you independently complete the preventive maintenance and basic trouble shooting.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Software Engineering or Technical Medical Laboratory. 
• Devoted, flexible, meticulous, service-minded and mindful of keeping deadlines. 
• Eagerness to explore and learn how to interact with customers. 
• Curious, adaptable and a taste for meeting new people and the unknown. 
• Team player with a good sense of humor, sociable and outgoing. 
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French; and English.
