Electrical Package Owner

As an Engineer in Building Services at STAR, you will work on the largest projects every day. Will this be your next project?

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety and compliance with all EHS plans.
• Promote safe practices, intervene when needed, and perform regular safety audits.
• Review contractors’ safety documentation and coordinate with the commissioning team.
• Understand full project scope and contract requirements.
• Supervise contractors’ daily activities for safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Participate in planning and coordination meetings.
• Enforce quality standards through inspections and test witnessing.
• Report quality issues and ensure only approved changes are implemented.
• Review test packs, red-line drawings, and support punch-list closure and turnover.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years' experience in the Construction Sector on live sites
• Knowledge of Life Science, Mission Critical or similarly complex projects essential
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Team management and leadership skills essential
• Good Client interface skills desirable
• Fluent in English. Good level of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
