Electrical Engineer Stabicad

Responsibilities

• As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, engineering, and development of electrical installations for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• You will translate client requirements and design specifications into high-quality technical designs and BIM models using Stabicad (AutoCAD and/or Revit).
• You will work closely with Project Managers, BIM Modelers, Design Engineers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality, and cost-effective electrical solutions.
• Design and model electrical installations using Stabicad.
• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, installation drawings, and technical schematics.
• Develop single-line diagrams, cable calculations, and power distribution calculations.
• Design lighting, power, emergency lighting, data, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines within BIM projects.
• Implement engineering revisions and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare material take-offs and technical documentation.
• Support Project Managers during the engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Associate Degree (MBO Level 4/HBO) in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Engineer.
• Proven experience with Stabicad (AutoCAD and/or Revit).
• Experience working within BIM environments.
• Knowledge of electrical design standards and regulations (e.g. NEN 1010, IEC standards, or equivalent).
• Experience with electrical calculation software such as Dialux, Intelec, or similar is considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of the Dutch and/or English language.
