Supervise CSA activities for pharmaceutical waste management areas ensuring compliance with EU pharmaceutical waste regulations and containment requirements
Oversee construction of specialized waste handling facilities including containment structures, drainage systems, and environmental protection measures for pharmaceutical waste streams
Coordinate with environmental engineers and regulatory specialists to ensure waste area designs meet Belgian environmental regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards
Manage construction teams for installation of chemical-resistant materials, specialized coatings, and containment systems required for pharmaceutical waste processing areas
Ensure proper integration of waste area infrastructure with main facility systems including utilities, drainage, HVAC, and emergency response systems
Supervise installation of specialized architectural features including airlocks, decontamination areas, and access control systems for waste management zones
Coordinate with quality control teams to verify construction compliance with pharmaceutical validation requirements and environmental protection standards
Manage interface coordination between waste area construction and adjacent facility areas to minimize contamination risks and maintain operational continuity
Oversee commissioning activities for waste area systems including leak testing, containment verification, and environmental compliance validation
Requirements
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in construction projects involving hazardous waste facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or regulated industrial environments
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, EU pharmaceutical waste management requirements, and containment system construction standards
Experience with chemical-resistant construction materials, specialized coatings, and environmental containment technologies
Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and waste stream management requirements for regulatory compliance
Proven ability to manage construction teams and coordinate complex technical interfaces in regulated environments
Proficiency in English plus Dutch and/or French languages desireable for effective communication with Belgian regulatory authorities and international project stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or related technical field
