Cost Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintains the Project Staffing Plan in Excel (Project is Reimbursable to Client)
• Maintains and Controls the PPAF (Project Personnel Approval Register) on a day-to-day basis, reporting weekly to Project Manager and Client
• Runs the  Manhours expenditure report weekly and issues this for Project Manager and Client approval (weekly).
• Reports on the Reimbursable Manhours monthly hours and cost (Budget / Actuals / Forecast)
• Provides inputs for Manhours to Changes / VORs in preparation.
• Provides input to the reimbursable Invoicing to Client (monthly) for the cost of  Labour

Requirements

• BSc with demonstrable experience - at least 5 years - as Cost Engineer on industrial EPC projects with value >50M USD in either the O&G or similar industries.
• Demonstrable experience in working with industry standard financial and ERP tools (such as e.g. SAP or MS Dynamics Business Control).
• Demonstrable broad technical understanding and same on commercial mechanisms (contract- and reimbursement types) applied for industrial EPC projects.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrable ability to write in the English language concise narratives.
• Excellent skills in MS Excel, including in the use of functions, pivot-tables and graphs.
• Excellent reporting, writing and presentation skills.
• Colaborative, communicative personality with sound business ethics.
