Senior Process Engineer - Upstream Projects

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• STAR is looking to engage with Sr. Process Engineers on a 1-year contractor assignment (temp to permament, extendable) to:
• Develop and review process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, H&MBs, design reports, line lists) in Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design stages.
• Perform and validate process simulations, equipment sizing, and relief calculations.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and international engineering standards.

Requirements

• Based in the Netherlands (valid work/residence permit required).
• BSc/MSc in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in an engineering consultancy or design environment.
• Proven experience in offshore upstream projects (fixed platforms and/or FPSOs.)
• Gas processing experience highly beneficial (dehydration, compression, separation).
• Familiarity with compressor and rotating equipment (advantageous).
• Greenfield / Brownfield experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
