PMC Instrumentation & Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Project is in search of Control & Instrument engineer to work within client (owners) engineering team for FEED (FEL 3). 
• Reporting to Lead Control & Instrument Engineer, position will provide technical direction and oversight of E&P contractor, ensuring safe design and cost effective application of standards.
• The role will also entail seeking input from operation and site projects team from the refineries.

Requirements

• 10+ years of demonstrable experience in relevant discipline engineering position.  
• Experience of EPC environment in PMC role for major projects with a track record of delivery demonstrating technical, commercial and project management skills. 
• Strong experience in wider Instrumentation and Control engineering subdisciplines (Functional safety, field instrumentation, control systems etc…). 
• Experience of instrumentation& control systems equipment specification, procurement, & installation.  
• Experience in brownfield modification of Instrumentation & Control System.   
• Pragmatic decision maker, willing to challenge and ensure engineering value is delivered. 
• Experience in refining, chemical or O&G industry’s Instrumentation & Control system.  
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project team, Contractors, and engineering leadership. 
• Knowledge of following discipline related international standards: 
  • Automation System digital security standards (e.g. IEC- 62443)  
  • Functional safety standards (e.g. IEC 61511) 
  • Alarm management standards (e.g. IEC 62682) 
  • Field instrumentation standards (e.g. IOGP S-718)
