Coordinating the progress of outsourced production work and ensuring that everything is completed within the schedule, budget, and according to specifications.
Identifying problems in a timely manner and taking corrective actions.
Supervising and expediting the manufacturing process at the subcontractor.
Aligning inspection points with the QC department in accordance with the Inspection & Test Plans (ITP/QIP).
Coordinating the overall logistics processes.
Collaborating with the Buyer, who is responsible for drafting the contract.
Liaising with other departments (Design, Engineering, QC) to ensure queries are addressed and resolved.
Monitoring and following up on delivery times for documentation and/or materials.
Interpreting supplier progress reports and taking action to prevent delays.
Processing and reporting complaints when defects are identified.
Performing standard administrative tasks and sharing relevant information/data with stakeholders.
Preparing and entering logistics activities into the ERP system.
Requirements
At least a Bachelor's degree (Higher Professional Education (HBO)) in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
Several years of work experience in a similar role within the energy, oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
Specific knowledge of contracts, quality requirements, and quality standards.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and associated quality controls.
Skilled in translating queries to the appropriate departments with strong communication skills.
Knowledge and experience in international subcontracting.
Assertive, precise, and experienced with international processes and cultures.
Willing to travel abroad if required.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
