Structural Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Basis of Design
• Weight Control Report
• Weight Control Procedure
• Structural analysis/calculations
• typicals for welding, penetrations, ladders, stairs, drainbox, hatch, joints, plating, grating
• Plans and trusses for main steel
• Plans for secondary steel
• Plans for tertiary steel
• Supporting:
• Grillage & Seafastening design
• Cathodic protection
• MTO

Requirements

• Bsc or Msc in Structural engineering
• Worked for engineering company for at least 5 years
• Experienced in leading a team of structural engineers in a detailed engineering project
• Minimum 4 years experience in this position
• Experienced in greenfield structural basic and detailed engineering in multidiciplinairy engineering teams
• Experienced in offshore platforms (jacket and topside design)
• Experienced with multidiscplinairy interfaces with Mechanical, E&I, HVA/C and piping
• Experienced with:
• Structural Analysis Computer System SACS
• MathCAD
• ANSYS
• Good knowledge of the relevant international codes and standards
• Good cummunicative skills
• Team player
• Proficient in writing and speaking in the English
