Senior Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

• Operational leadership of technicians, work preparers and schedulers and a maintenance engineer to ensure safe, compliant and timely execution of maintenance work (preventive, corrective, calibrations, testing, overhauls).
• Coach and develop staff, foster continuous improvement and empower the maintenance organization
• Prioritize maintenance requests according to site priorities to minimize production downtime, to protect product quality and guarantee safety
• Ensure maintenance execution meets safety, quality and cost targets.
• Collaborate with plant managers and reliability engineers to identify mid- and long-term improvements and support CAPEX business cases.
• Drive digitization, standardization of work processes and reliability practices across maintenance teams.
• Participate in the Geel GET Maintenance & Reliability Leadership team and contribute to site-level initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience (Engineering, Science or similar) or strong demonstrable experience.
• Proven people leadership skills and ability to communicate across all levels.
• Structured approach, strong organizational and change-management capability.
• Strong safety and quality mindset (experience in regulated environments preferred).
• Passion for process equipment and technology.
• Hands-on experience within Maintenance & Engineering.
• Experience partnering with reliability engineers and leading CAPEX or continuous improvement projects.
• Familiarity with GMP and SEVESO site requirements is a plus.
