Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proposals and projects as required
• Assist in preparation of P&ID’s and participate in P&ID review meetings, HAZOP meetings and LOPA meetings.
• Execute calculations for flow instruments, thermowells, control valves and pressure relief valves.
• Preparation specifications and data sheets for control valves, pressure relief valves and analyzers, etc.
• Preparation of requisition packages, Vendor bid evaluation and vendor print checking for BPCS, SIS-PLC, MMS and Package units.
• Preparation of documents for BPSC and SIS-PLC system.
• Preparation of documents for telecommunication systems.
• Assist in inspections when requested by inspection department and/or for BPCS,  SIS-PLC and analyzers.
• Review of documents from instrumentation or other disciplines.
• Site assistance during construction, commissioning and start-up on request of the construction and/or start-up department (special assignment).

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in one of following engineering subjects: Instrumentation, Process Control, Electrical and Electronics, Chemical or Mechanical
• More than ten years’ experience in a similar engineering function.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
