Responsibilities

  • As the Site Manager for the projects in Stenungsund, you will handle daily operational tasks and provide key technical expertise to manage complex issues. You will work cross-functionally with our various departments such as discipline engineers, procurement, planning, project management, and cost control.
  • The main responsibility is to ensure that our projects are delivered safely, completed on time, within budget, and meet customer objectives and company policies. The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career development and a direct impact on project success.
  • Prepare project execution, including developing execution plans and constructability reports.  
  • Participate in contractor procurement, provide input to the procurement team, as well as prepare cost estimates and contribute to the cost team's work.
  • Provide input to the planning team to create schedules and lead the project team in the field to meet contract commitments and represent Worley at stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while meeting both customer and company requirements.  
  • Review and advise on contractors' schedules, personnel, and equipment, ensuring timely submission of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and quality reports.  
  • Administer the project budget, monitor expenses, and maintain good relationships with contractors and suppliers, while ensuring compliance with company procedures in quality assurance, safety, and personnel management, as well as promoting team development.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in field management, project management, and/or technical experience.  
  • Experience working within petrochemicals.  
  • Proven understanding of critical skills in areas such as workplace safety aspects, quality control, contract management, procurement, and control of all aspects of construction.  
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying industry regulations, codes, and standards.  
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Fluency in English is required, Swedish language skills is a plus
