Senior Civil Engineer

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Project management: You supervise industrial construction projects from the quotation phase to implementation. Team coordination: You manage a team of designers, engineers and architects and guarantee quality, planning and budget. Construction advice: You provide expert advice in the field of stability, foundations and building finishing. Multidisciplinary collaboration: You work closely with various departments within Sweco for integrated project solutions.

Requirements

Experience and expertise: Industrial/civil engineer in construction or equivalent through experience. Experience with project-based work within an engineering firm. Technical skills: Several years (Medior) to considerable (Senior) experience in design, stability and follow-up of industrial projects. General knowledge: Good knowledge of construction aspects, stability, foundations, concrete and steel, building finishing, standards and regulations. Communication skills: You have good communication skills, customer focus and you are a team player! Project-based work: Experience with project organization, safety and quality control within an engineering firm. Language skills: Good command of Dutch and English.
