Conduct inspections of buildings and HVAC systems during all project phases to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and quality standards.
Perform visual inspections of HVAC installations, piping, ductwork, insulation, and mechanical systems.
Verify materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and approved documentation.
Monitor and assess construction activities, identifying non-conformities and coordinating corrective actions with the construction team.
Review and maintain Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and reports to support project milestones.
Perform and document pre-commissioning and commissioning inspections of HVAC systems, ensuring operational compliance.
Collaborate closely with construction, engineering, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related challenges efficiently.
Ensure proper handling, installation, and testing of HVAC systems and components.
Provide daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting any issues or risks impacting quality.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience, 5+ years as a QC Inspector specializing in Buildings and HVAC systems within construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including piping, ductwork, ventilation, insulation, and commissioning processes.
Familiarity with relevant quality standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO, SMACNA, or EN standards).
Experience in non-conformity reporting and managing corrective actions.
Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and ITPs.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce accurate quality documentation.
Proficiency in quality tools and reporting software.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional language is a plus.
