QAQC Lead

Responsibilities

• Main tasks: - Provide required training and guiding of internal and subcontracted personnel to ensure the quality requirements are understood and implemented.
• Maintain the overview of planned and actual inspection and verification activities from sub-contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain the documentation of performed inspection - Perform/assist in any audits
• Coordinate and clarify with Borealis counterpart any QA/QC subjects arising during the works
• Coordinate with Discipline Leads the daily inspection activities
• Participate in daily toolbox meetings at site as required, participate in daily progress & coordination meetings by Site manager
• Process any identified non-conformities and deviations, monitor associated progress in rectifying them and ensure they are closed out and documented correctly.
• Perform required QA/QC reporting for weekly & monthly reports

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping, or related field.

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC within EPC/EPCM projects, preferably in the industrial/petrochemical sector.

• Knowledge of international QA/QC standards, welding procedures, NDT, and inspection practices.

• Familiarity with prefabrication yards and site installation activities.

• Strong documentation skills and structured approach.

• Previous Final Client site experience or Swedish petrochemical background highly preferred.

• Fluent in English &  Swedish language
