Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned industrial investment projects in accordance with the client’s stage-gate methodology
• Take overall responsibility for project design, execution, governance and leadership
• Define project objectives, scope, planning, budget and execution strategy
• Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and external engineering contractors
• Manage project risks, costs, schedules and performance reporting
• Ensure the integration of engineering disciplines into construction work packages
• Report project progress to senior management and the Project Steering Committee
• Supervise projects through construction, commissioning and start-up
• Maintain effective communication with business stakeholders, site management and contractors

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing major industrial CAPEX projects
• Proven experience with projects valued between €20 million and €50 million
• Strong understanding of process engineering, multidisciplinary design, construction and industrial operations
• Experience managing international and virtual project teams
• Demonstrated leadership of internal teams and third-party engineering contractors
• Experience with FEL, stage-gate project development and project governance
• PMP or an equivalent project management certification is an advantage
• Fluent in both French and English
