Project Engineer HVAC

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project engineering and project management of HVAC and Clean Utilities projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

• Responsible for the HVAC scope within cleanroom construction projects.

• Execution of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering activities.

• Translation of customer requirements and internal standards into compliant HVAC designs.

• Coordination of the purchase, installation, start-up, verification, and validation of HVAC equipment and piping.

• Preparation and management of technical documentation including P&IDs, functional specifications, and validation documentation.

• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO, ICH, Quality Standards).

• Facilitation and support of Quality Risk Assessments.

• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in multidisciplinary project teams.

• Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Execution of operational tasks in line with defined procedures within a medior service level context.

Requirements

• Technical education or equivalent relevant experience.

• Proven experience with HVAC systems in a similar project engineering role.

• Experience with engineering (Capex) projects in a regulated environment.

• Knowledge of GMP regulations, Six Sigma methodology, and risk management tools such as FMEA.

• Experience with project planning and coordination tools such as MS Project.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Assertive, structured, and able to manage priorities in a multidisciplinary environment.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Fluency in English and Dutch.
