Project Engineer

Are you ready for the next step in your career? As a technical specialist in the Life Science sector, you work on technologies that improve lives. You play a key role in the development and optimization of systems for drug production, medical devices and biotechnology, for example.

Your work is crucial to the success of these projects.

Responsibilities

• Candidates with experience within the chocolate industry have an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in Utilities (steam, water, heat pumps). and air treatment (dust, oil, odor treatment) have an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in Environment (emissions, water purification, rain water recovery, ….) have an advantage.
• Candidate can communicate fluently with management (operations, maintenance, …) and operators.
• The candidate is able to manage a project completely independently (A-Z/Design RFQ-Commissioning).
• The candidate is a team player within the engineering team.
• The candidate has the necessary persuasive power to sell his project to the different stakeholders.
• The candidate reports to the local engineering manager of Wieze.

Requirements

• Master degree in engineering (Industrial engineer or Civil engineer electromechanics).
• At least 5 years of experience within an industrial environment, engineering department.
• Experience in projects such as: piping (double jacket piping), mechanical engineering, safety adaptions realized on existing mechanical installations, HVAC (heating, ventilation, airco), …
• Good knowledge of machine safety legislation.
• By preference experience within the food industry or pharma.
• Living within a 40km radius of the factory, meaning travel time less then 45 minutes.
• Languages: Dutch C1, English C2, French B1.
