As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Operability Hub lead for collaboration and associated interfaces with relevant Asset Integrity Pillars (Maintenance & Reliability) and all Asset Integrity Lines of Defense (LODs)

  • Ensure Product Line activities are performed in alignment with AI Pillars strategies.
  • Ensure Product Line benefits from Fleet best practices and the forward vision of AI Pillars
  • Equally, that Fleet negative (or positive) events/data (lessons) are on passed via relevant lessons learning processes, to Group Treatment Owners within Maintenance/Reliability, to ensure corrective actions are taken for all future projects
  • Maintaining links to Ops regions including, but not only, via the AI Pillars, is encouraged to enhance subject matter knowledge and uptake of Fleet experience

Operability TE for product line area

  • Represent Operations Maintenance & Reliability pillar within the Group FPS Product Line and Technology (e.g. Technical framing, Technology and Product Development studies, FPS WIN phase)
  • Involved as Operability TE with Floating Production Solutions, Product Lines and Technology in the development of safe, operable, maintainable, and economical designs for future EPCI projects and initiatives, in compliance with contractual requirements and Management System and Standards.
  • Maintain links with Operability OLE’s in WIN phase and with Region 3 / Ops Readiness - together with Lessons team, where appropriate - to ensure on pass of both Fleet and Project phase lessons
  • NB success within ongoing WIN / EXECUTE projects implies developing alignment with Group Functions and TA / TE’s

Section lead within Operability for the Line Management of Operability Discipline Specialists - via the generation of a product/Discipline focused operability community (Maintenance/Reliability)

  • Leading a team of Maintenance Superintendents, Electrical Supervisors, Instrument Supervisors, ICSS Superintendents and specialists.
  • Effectively assign resources to FPS PL WIN projects, product, and technology developments, with the objective of designing for safety, inspection, maintenance, and operational performance, as well as to provide operations technical deliverables.
  • Responsible for effective mentoring, guidance (including objectives and appraisals), training, competence assessment, coordination and quality performance of Operability Superintendents (Maintenance & Reliability Scope)
  • Responsible for Operability Maintenance and Reliability 3 Years Plan & Roadmap to be integrated within the overall Operability roadmap.
  • Ensure recovery of the Operability Maintenance & Reliability team is on target

Main Activities within Hub area ( Maintenance & Reliability ) :

  • Responsible of the development of Workload Study and POB assessment process.
  • Responsible of the execution of Workload studies (new projects, unit in operation, initiatives, specific cases, etc.).
  • Responsible for developing (with Product Line and Technology) safe, operable, maintainable and economical designs for future EPCI projects, compliant with contractual requirements and Management System and Standards.
  • Provide inputs to support Proposals team with cost estimating deliverables.
  • Coordinate Maintenance & Reliability Operability specialists attendance to FEEDs and project design reviews (e.g. Hazops, model reviews, etc.)
  • Ensure inclusion of operability and maintainability requirements into GTS and GEMS of the Projects division and Product Lines
  • Support future technological developments with Group technology as well as bringing value creation within future digital platforms

Requirements

  • University degree, BSc or MSc in relevant engineering field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations & maintenance of FPSOs
  • Experience in design, construction and commissioning of FPSOs (or platforms), with good general knowledge of FPSO design, familiarity with design processes and good knowledge of project execution and completion activities in topside construction yards as well as shipyards (both new build and repair yards).
  • To be familiar with regulatory requirements related to FPSOs.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Available to travel internationally (short term), including on-board vessels (exceptionally).
  • Ability to work independently and quickly assess and prioritize situations.
  • Proactive, good interpersonal communication and supervisory skills and strong commitment to a team culture.
