Offshore Structural Steel Engineer – Decommissioning

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• For an ongoing decommissioning program in the North Sea, we are looking for an Offshore Structural Steel Engineer with proven decommissioning experience on offshore assets.
• The assignment focuses on several offshore platforms that are currently entering the decommissioning phase.
• The engineer will support structural integrity assessments, documentation reviews, workshop coordination, and engineering activities related to offshore removal and dismantling scopes.
• Scope of Work:
• Review and assess structural and decommissioning documentation
• Support and coordinate technical workshops with stakeholders
• Structural steel engineering for offshore assets during decommissioning phase
• Interface with project, operations, and integrity teams
• Work within systems such as PIMS and Maximo
• Support engineering deliverables related to offshore asset removal and preparation.

Requirements

• Strong offshore structural steel engineering background
• Previous experience in offshore decommissioning projects
• Experience with mature offshore assets / brownfield environments
• Familiar with offshore documentation and integrity processes
• Experience working with PIMS and/or Maximo is preferred
• North Sea experience is a strong plus
• Contract Details
• Duration: approximately 6 months
• Start: ASAP
