HVAC Lead Engineer

As an Engineer in Offshore & Shipbuilding, you play a crucial role in creating safe, sustainable and efficient projects on or offshore. From shipbuilding to floating offshore platforms.

Responsibilities

• HVAC Lead Engineer Requirements:
• Education: BSc or MSc in a relevant field
• Experience: Minimum 5 years with an engineering company and at least 4 years in an equivalent position
• Professional Experience: Experienced in leading a team of HVA/C engineers and designers in a detailed engineering project
• Industry Knowledge: Proficient in greenfield HVAC conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering, particularly within the marine industry
• Technical Expertise:
• HVAC engineering in marine industry projects
• HV substation design
• HVAC controls and Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) design activities, including related interfaces
• Preparation of specifications, technical bid evaluations (TBE), and participation in HVAC equipment reviews
• Air Handling Units and chillers, with knowledge of the latest technologies

Requirements

• Standards Knowledge: Knowledge of ASHRAE, DNV, and ISO standards
• Design Deliverables: Experience in preparing detailed design deliverables, such as:
• Heat load calculations
• Pressure loss calculations
• D&ID diagrams
• Software Proficiency: Familiar with E3D
• Language Skills: Proficient in English language
