Execute the activities pertaining to the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the Plant.
Operate in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures.
Develop the detailed pre-commissioning procedures for Machinery & Packages, procedures for the functional tests of the machineries according to the instructions of Commissioning Machinery Superintendent.
Field checks
Expediting closing of pending Punch List Items in accordance with Commissioning Superintendent (COT) priorities; Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures and requirements.
Ensure all safety rules are in force and are followed in field.
Supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
Organize and manage the operations in field of the assigned team from the Sub Contractor by controlling their job and the implementation of Plant Safety procedures in case of emergency.
Support the Vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors.
Supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role during commissioning projects.
In-depth understanding of chemical plant processes, equipment, and systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to chemical operations.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, as effective communication is crucial for coordinating activities and interacting with a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address technical issues that may arise during commissioning.
