Plan and execute commissioning activities for both large-scale and smaller systems, plant units, and equipment.
Ensure commissioning meets required standards on cleanliness, functionality, process reliability, and safety.
Develop and follow detailed commissioning plans, test procedures, and protocols.
Monitor and report commissioning status, risks, and potential issues to project and technical management.
Collaborate closely with EPCM partners, contractors, and internal teams to bridge competence gaps in electrical, automation, instrumentation, and process areas.
Document all commissioning activities, including results, deviations, and improvement measures. Additionally support and guide already existing comissioning engineer in his current role with the projects.
Provide flexible support during critical phases, particularly during plant restarts and scheduled stops.

Degree in Engineering (mechanical, process, electrical/automation) or equivalent technical background.
Several years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the process industry, petrochemicals, or other large-scale industrial plants from Sweden within the petrochemical or chemical industry.
Proven track record in construction/EPCM projects and plant commissioning and a well proven understanding of swedish quality standards.
Strong process knowledge and ability to read P&IDs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently in situations where direct support may be limited.
Fluent in English (written & spoken) – a key requirement due to local suppliers, stakeholders, and documentation. Swedish is not necessary but would be positive.
Ability to perform under time pressure and adapt to strict requirements (cleanliness, safety, quality).
Flexible mindset and willingness to adapt to changing project scopes and workloads.
