Bulk Engineer

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall data management, analysis, and reporting of project materials throughout the project lifecycle
• Obtain and expedite the timely release of engineering data in line with the agreed project schedule
• Verify and validate engineering data, and take appropriate action to correct or amend discrepancies when required
• Process Supply Chain and Logistics data accurately into MRP systems (Nadia/ERM)
• Develop and produce multi-system data analyses and reports to support project execution
• Prepare and issue material data packages for procurement to the yards
• Generate and distribute weekly Material reports using Power BI
• Provide ongoing project support by delivering reliable data insights and reporting
• Forecast bulk material quantities in close consultation with engineering teams
• Monitor and track changes in material quantities as a result of ongoing design development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or in cost engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a role such as material control, cost engineering, project planning, procurement, or data analysis
• Experience within an EPC project environment is considered a plus
• Experience with data handling and working with databases is considered a plus
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is required
• Knowledge of MS Access, SQL, Visual Basic, and Power BI is considered a plus
• Strong command of the English language is mandatory
