TA Superintendent / Coordinator

Responsibilities

As a Turnaround Coordinator, you play a central role in the successful execution of complex turnaround projects. You act as the key interface between planning, operations, execution teams, and contractors. Your focus is on ensuring that all turnaround activities are coordinated, aligned, and executed safely, efficiently, and within scope, schedule, and budget.

• Coordinate all aspects of turnaround execution, including mechanical, piping, scaffolding, E&I, inspection, and support services.
• Act as the main communication point between internal departments and external contractors during the turnaround.
• Ensure adherence to the turnaround master schedule, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or delays proactively.
• Monitor progress in the field, facilitate daily coordination meetings, and support quick resolution of issues.
• Oversee the safe execution of work according to HSE procedures, permit systems, and regulatory standards.
• Align resources, equipment, and material availability with the execution plan to avoid downtime or inefficiencies.
• Track and report on progress, productivity, deviations, and critical path items to turnaround leadership.
• Support scope control, mechanical completion, punch listing, and handover procedures.
• Ensure that lessons learned, and best practices are captured and shared for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance or project coordination.
• Extensive experience in turnaround coordination is required, preferably in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or process industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple interfaces and coordinate across diverse teams under time pressure.
• Strong understanding of turnaround processes, safety practices, planning systems, and contractor management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• EU citizenship is mandatory due to site and legal requirements.
