We are currently seeking a medior to senior-level Mechanical Work Preparator with strong expertise in rotating equipment to temporarily support our team during a critical turnaround period. You will be responsible for preparing and optimizing work packages focused on rotating assets (e.g., pumps, compressors, motors) and ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution during the TA.
The Turnaround officially begins around January of 2027. Work preparators will be required beforehand.
Prepare detailed work packages for mechanical maintenance activities related to rotating equipment as agreed during turnaround planning meetings.
Ensure compliance with all HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards.
Determine required materials, tools, and resources — including placing external/internal orders as needed.
Coordinate and schedule tasks with external contractors and in-house teams, ensuring safe execution.
Review and evaluate completed work and continuously optimize work preparation.
Requirements
Proven experience working with rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, turbines, compressors)
Previous turnaround experience is preferred, ideally in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sector
Strong familiarity with SAP, work preparation tools, and MS Office
Ability to interpret technical documentation and maintenance instructions
Skilled at planning and coordinating under time pressure in a turnaround setting
Strong team player with good communication and coordination skills
EU citizenship is mandatory due to site and legal requirements.
