QC Inspector Civil

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Civil Works: Inspecting the construction of underground pipelines, temporary installations, and paved roads to ensure they meet technical specifications and quality standards.

• Quality Control of Materials: Verifying the quality of materials used, such as pipes and foundation materials, through testing and inspections.

• Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations during work execution.

• Documentation and Reporting: Preparing detailed inspection and test reports, maintaining accurate records of all quality control activities.

• Coordination with Project Teams: Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and contractors to discuss technical issues and implement solutions.

• Inspection of Technical Drawings: Checking the execution of work against technical drawings and specifications to identify and correct any deviations.

• Resolving Quality Issues: Identifying discrepancies or defects and recommending corrective actions to maintain project quality.

• Supervising Tests and Audits: Organizing and conducting field tests and internal audits to monitor and improve compliance with quality standards.

• Environmental Responsibility: Supporting the implementation of sustainable construction practices.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: VCA VOL
• Experience in Quality Control: Several years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects, with a focus on quality inspections and compliance.
• Technical Skills: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, conduct inspections, and generate detailed quality control reports.
