Laboratory Quality Coordinator Medior

Responsibilities

• As Laboratory Quality Coordinator you act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for equipment management across the Clinical Research Unit. 
• You train asset owners from equipment purchase to full installation. 
• You ensure metrology compliance, verifying that mapping and reports from external vendors align with laboratory-specific requirements. 
• You handle Clinical and Medical Controlled Document (CMCD) revisions and updates. 
• You actively participate in Lab Quality meetings, act as a strong advisor, and lead quality improvement projects. 
• You maintain and ensure ISO17025 accreditation for the Safety Laboratory. 
• You conduct at least one internal audit per year and ensure audit and inspection readiness at all times. 
• You review study protocols and assess feasibility for laboratory requirements and procedures. 
• You ensure that clinical trials comply with protocol requirements, objectives, and timelines. 
• You collaborate directly with the laboratory team to implement and coordinate quality actions. 
• You ensure the accurate collection and processing of biological specimens to maintain high-quality analytical data. 
• You monitor KPIs, handle non-conformities, claims, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Clinical Research or analytical techniques. 
• Knowledge of analytical validation procedures.
• Strong understanding of clinical pharmacology and regulatory requirements (GCP, ISO17025, or ISO 15189).
• Flexible and available for on-call duty (24/7, one week in rotation, planned in advance) to ensure volunteer/patient and clinical trial safety. 
• Language: English, French, and/or Dutch
