Process Safety Engineer

As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• The role of Process Safety Engineer consists in:
• Support the implementation and improvements on PSM framework and Procedures
• Collaborate in audit of process safety management.
• LOPC classification, safety performance indicators monitoring, report and trend analysis.
• Support on LOPC Investigation.
• Follow up of Process Safety Investigations actions.
• Development of PSM trainings.
• Application of internal and external standards and requirements (e.g. IOGP, API, Energy institute, etc.).

Requirements

• STAR is looking for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field) with previous experience in Process Engineering or Process Safety Engineering.
• Furthermore, you are, or you have:
• Process Engineering and/or Process Safety background, minimum 3 year’s experience.
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems.
• Good analytical capabilities.
• Effective communication throughout all organization levels.
• Innovative and collaborative nature.
• Travel as international business travels may be required.
• Contract type: Temporary (12 months) full-time position
• Flexible worktime
