QC Inspector Civil

Responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback on subcontractor procedures, ITPs, and other related documentation.
• Conduct witness inspections, perform surveillance checks, and continuously evaluate subcontractor QC performance.
• Ensure work quality aligns with the Construction Site Quality Plan, approved ITPs, and procedures within assigned areas.
• Accurately document all inspection activities in the appropriate records.
• Monitor subcontractors' QC resource levels to ensure compliance with quality standards and the agreed resource ratio.
• Identify and document quality deficiencies from subcontractors and suppliers, initiating the non-conformance process as necessary.
• Record deficiencies or incomplete work as punch items, working closely with the supervisor/superintendent to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate closely with discipline supervisors to schedule and manage field inspections.
• Verify that materials used conform to project technical specifications, codes, and standards.
• Assist the QC/turnover team in collecting and organizing relevant QC records.
• Implement HSE procedures and standards in compliance with applicable laws, Health and Safety Documentation, and the Environmental Management Manual.
• Proactively identify and report unsafe acts, behaviors, and conditions to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Strong background in civil and structural steel disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil and quality control construction.
• Familiarity with the application of EN 1090-2 standards and Regulation No. 305/2011 – Construction Product Regulation.
• Knowledge and experience with completion and turnover management processes.
