Responsibilities

  • The purpose of the TA Manager’s position is to develop and lead the Rotterdam TA team and to continuously improve TA performance.
  • You will be responsible for the safe execution of the TA program within approved premises and meeting the business objectives.
  • This is a high-impact leadership role with a financial and operational dimension between €25 - 100 MM (TA cost and production impact).
  • The TA team manages the 6-yearly major TAs (for each production line) and the dedicated yearly catalyst changes.
  • During TA execution, the team grows to around 50 people, managing over 900 people at the peak of construction.
  • TA Strategy and Organization:
  • Develop and lead the Rotterdam TA team.
  • Define the long-term TA Strategy in close cooperation with other relevant disciplines to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure the right competencies and resources are available/developed to plan and execute the Rotterdam TA program, including all major TAs and catalyst changes.
  • Build one ‘cohesive’ TA team which cooperates effectively with other disciplines/functions.
  • Cooperate with the TA Center of Excellence (TACOE) to continuously improve Rotterdam’s TA performance and globally share learnings and best practices.
  • TA Planning and Execution:
  • Ensure TAs are prepared and executed in accordance with the TA Governance and TA Manual and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure safe execution of TAs, while meeting the schedule, cost, and quality targets.
  • Pro-actively cooperate with other disciplines (Maintenance, Projects, HSSE, Procurement, etc.) to ensure integration and alignment of TA planning and execution.
  • Responsible for TA budgeting and costs performance against approved budgets.
  • Ensure adequate reporting during all TA phases at different levels (e.g., TA Core Team, Steering Team and above).
  • TA Contracting:
  • Develop long-term TA partnerships for key disciplines to secure resources and to jointly improve TA performance over multiple TAs.
  • Ensure compliance to contractor HSE management process.
  • Member of Maintenance Leadership Team:
  • Participate in the Maintenance Leadership Team (LT), contributing to the Maintenance strategy and plans.
  • Cooperate effectively with LT colleagues to continuously improve site maintenance performance.

Requirements

 
  • Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
